Student Code of Conduct
Statement of Expectations
As members of the Alabama A&M University community, all students, student groups, and student organizations are expected to uphold the University鈥檚 values and community standards by engaging in socially responsible behavior and demonstrating integrity, accountability, respect, and positive citizenship both on campus and beyond.
Students are expected to comply with all University policies and applicable laws related to alcohol and other drug use. Violations involving alcohol, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or other prohibited substance-related behavior may result in action through the student conduct process.
The University鈥檚 response is intended to be educational, developmental, and restorative in nature while also prioritizing the health, safety, and well-being of the campus community. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, outcomes may include educational interventions, counseling, restorative measures, probation, suspension, or expulsion from the University.
Students are encouraged to review the full Student Code of Conduct and applicable sanctioning guidelines regarding alcohol and drug violations.
